Supporting Special Educational Needs (SEN) with Ipads

Supporting Special Educational Needs (SEN) with Ipads is intended to give teachers time to develop confidence with a series of hands on activities, using the iPad to support independent learning. 

Enhance the students ability to experience and communicate in their environment.

Aims and Objectives

Supporting SEN using iPad has been created by Oscar Stringer to ensure Primary teachers can;

  • Develop confidence and ideas for using iPads effectively to support students.
  • Explore a selection of key apps and features of the iPad the training will ensure you’re getting the most from this relevant and accessible technology.
  • Use apps to create games and puzzles for students, explore the simple cause and effect apps, digital portfolio apps, learning game apps, presentation 
  • Develop confidence with a series of hands on activities, using the iPad to support independent learning. Enhance the students ability to experience and communicate in their environment.

Who is it aimed at?

Teachers, support staff and SENCO’s working with SEN students in all Key Stages.
