the Pickwick Learning Teaching School Alliance
Fellowship
Alliance Partner
This group is made up of the DfE-ratified founding partners of the PLTSA. Fellowship members support and contribute to all areas of the work of the alliance, and lead in one or more areas. They are accountable for the success of the alliance.

PLTSA partners support and contribute to one
or more areas of the work of the alliance.
Membership is open to organisations and schools (with any OFSTED rating)
within a reasonable travelling distance of the lead school, Corsham Primary
School.

- Shared CPD through ‘sharing of good practice’ staff meeting networks

professional development opportunities for staff e.g. becoming Specialist, Local or National

- Funding for hosting high quality Schools Direct (ITT) Trainees

to, and participation in, annual Teaching & Learning Conference (1st Sept

to lead and support on research and development projects

to talent management, succession planning, policies, performance management
documentation and other shared resources through the membership area on PLTSA
website

to demonstrate collaborative working between schools – a requirement for
Outstanding Schools in the new OFSTED framework

on initial set up fee)
Cost
- FREE for one year from sign up (we have received a DfE funding grant to set up the Teaching School)
- No
obligation to remain in the partnership
- Annual contract
- £2.50
per FTE pupil after first year (estimated cost to make running the Teaching School sustainable when DfE funding stops)
Non Alliance
Partner Support
Schools and
organisations who are not in the alliance are encouraged to request and access support from
PLTSA. These will be costed depending on the level of support required.
