Specialist Leader of Education - Sonja Mawdsley

I am an experienced teacher, and Literacy Leader, who is part of the Senior Management Team at Winterslow Primary School near Salisbury. 

I have worked for over 25 years in 9 different schools and have been graded as an outstanding practitioner and excellent subject leader in my two recent Ofsteds.

I have been currently working in Year 6 now for 4 years, but have experience across the whole primary phase. In previous schools, i have been a Year 6 leader and Upper School Co-ordinator. 

Furthermore, I have led staff and teacher assistant training mornings; supported students and NQTs; worked on school data and assessment, and introduced new school initiatives to encourage enjoyment in Literacy.
